TRAPPER 12′ / 14′

A classic lightweight tandem or solo canoe, stable, fast and visually striking, the Trapper 14 is well suited for two adults, the Trapper 12′ is designed as a solo canoe. The traditional lines of this canoe take the paddler back to the simple origins of canoeing. It's perfect for the weekend trip and its small size and good looks also make it an ideal canoe to display.

ANGLER 13'6″

Looking for a light, stable canoe for one or two persons, for adults and children, on flat water or in light waves, and good for fishing, photography, or just plain fun paddling? The Angler is just for you! Paddlers of any experience level can jump right in and go in this exceptionally stable little canoe, that handles very nicely. Small and nimble enough to find those hidden away fishing spots, it's the choice of the solo fisherman. You can even stand and cast from this platform!

HERON 14′

In an age where tradition and romanticism is a thing of the past, Langford offers a cedar rowboat that is a throw back to the days when rowing on a quiet lake or pond was an experience never forgotten. The boat is handcrafted from the finest BC red cedar with double oarlocks and a square stern. For those who enjoy the solitude and peace of an early morning row or a quiet sunset outing this is the craft for you. SIGNET 14'9″

The Signet 14'9″ offers a unique blend of speed and responsiveness, coupled with a lightweight design for ease of portage. The Signet maneuvers easily and glides well. A long established favourite of the discriminating intermediate and experienced canoeist. Solo model shown with red cedar option. A tandem configuration is also available.

HURON 15'10"

Our most popular recreational canoe, the Huron sports a reinforced (1/2 ribbed) interior and a wide beam for exceptional stability. For family paddling, hunting with dogs, fishing or literally any activity, on water ranging from flat to rough lake conditions, the Huron is also the choice of serious wilderness photographers, who demand the most stable craft for their art. The capacity of the Huron also lends itself to extended tripping for two adults or weekend excursions for a small family.

HERITAGE 16′

The Algonquin Heritage 16′ is the original Langford Canoe. This exceptional craft has been lovingly recreated to celebrate our 70th year. The Beautiful "Plank and Rib" Red Cedar canoe has been fashioned on a painstakingly refurbished original 1940′s circa mould. Limited to a production of just 70 canoes the Algonquin Heritage 16′ offers the true enthusiast a chance to recapture a piece of Canadian History. The massive recurve stems, pronounced "tumblechome" sweeping decks and gunwales set this wonderful design apart, and immediately trigger memories of yesteryear. Originally designed with definite purpose in mind the Algonquin 16′ was/is a true work horse, shaped to carry paddler and gear across all sizes of lakes in all types of weather. The deep hull, clean lines and increasing rocker allow this 16 footer to move quickly and respond well whether being paddled empty or loaded. The Western Red Cedar Planks contrast sharply against the clear Eastern White Cedar Ribbing as does the Solid White Ash Inwales, paired to the beautiful Antique Mahogany Outwales. Over 2000 brass tacks shine through the hull's mirror polished low maintenance epoxy skin. With time each unique Red Cedar plank will darken which dramatically alters the look of the canoe as it ages. An heirloom to be passed on to future generations the Algonquin has been constructed with the utmost care and attention to detail. This watercraft symbolizes everything that Langford Canoe has stood for, over the last 70 years.

HBC MULTI-STRIPE 16′

TIn 2009 Langford canoe was commissioned by Canada's oldest and most historic company The Hudson's Bay Company Est 1670 to create this 16′ cedar plank and rib canvas covered canoe. It has quickly become a must have for enthusists and collectors world wide. Available exclusively through Hudson's Bay stores in Canada and Lord and Taylor stores in the United States.

LEGACY 16'

This 16′ Canoe has been refined to the point of perfection. The Legacy has a half or "sister ribbed" White Cedar interior. The planked hull is made from select pieces of British Columbia Red Cedar. Over time the reddish tint will darken considerably creating a remarkable contrast between it, the brass tacks, and the Eastern White Cedar ribs. The Legacy is also available with canvas a skin. Each hand built hull has a distinct pattern created by the variances in colour found in the planking. The Legacy's hull has the finest lines found in any canoe, being both extremely efficient and maneuverable. "There is simply nothing that compares"… This is the constant refrain heard from anyone lucky enough to have paddled the worlds finest 16 footer.

PROSPECTOR 17'3"

The Langford Prospector's shallow draft and obvious length (over 17 feet), make this canoe both extremely stable very quick, efficiently hauling large loads at a unbelievable pace. The original model was used by guides, ferrying "sportsman" to their destinations. The design allowed for the canoe even when heavily laden, to easily glide up and down shallow rivers and safely move over larger lakes. The artful blend of varying hues of Red Cedar planking, juxtaposed against the white cedar ribs, creates a striking visual impression further reinforced by the canoes size. The planked, sister, and structural ribbed interior lends a unrivalled feeling of substance and sturdiness. The 17.3′s large efficient hull gave rise to the Langford Prospector 17.4 one of our most popular performance tripping designs. The 17.3 Langford Prospector is quite literally the finest cottage canoe money can buy, safely plying the waters with the entire family, and if the need arises one can put it to work filling it's historical role as a heavy duty hauler.
